Tom and Jerry: The Movie

I spent many a Saturday of my youth watching The Tom and Jerry Show. In this adaptation of the traditional Hanna-Barbera cartoon, one of the crucial beloved rivalries in historical past continues on this live-action hybrid film from Warner Bros. Animation Group. When Jerry strikes into New York City’s best resort on the eve of “the marriage of the century,” the occasion’s planner is determined to do away with him, so Tom will get the job! But the following cat and mouse battle threatens to destroy her profession, the marriage and possibly even the resort itself. All whereas a diabolically formidable staffer conspires in opposition to all three of them, forcing the cat-and-mouse duo to do the unthinkable: work collectively to save lots of the day.

The film isn’t only for cat (and mouse) lovers — Spike the Bulldog makes an look, too! Directed by Tim Story, the film stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Michael Pena, Rob Delaney, Colin Jost and Ken Jeong, and is slated for launch on Feb. 26, 2021 on HBO Max and in theaters. — Annie
