Hi everybody,
Following on from the poem Wanda please discover beneath the newest entry from creator Abbie Johnson Taylor
REMEMBERING HOWARD
What a reputation for a cat, I believed
when Mother urged it,
however I used to be solely seven or eight
so what did I do know, proper?
A grey kitten with tiger stripes,
we thought she was a male.
After the vet advised us in any other case,
Mother mentioned it didn’t matter.
With such a candy disposition,
Howard was my favourite.
When Mother wasn’t round,
or when she was mad,
Howard absorbed my tears,
soothed me together with her light purr.
Even after I was an grownup, she was there,
listening to my troubles,
not judging, not advising.
One of these cats with 9 lives,
she lived to be twenty and might be missed.
