Photographer Doug Perrin captured the 15-meter whale at lunch. Opening its large mouth, this underwater big prepares to shut its jaws to swallow one other portion of sardines. The photographer was fortunate to be in shut proximity to the whale and never be swallowed.
These superb pictures had been taken by underwater images fanatic Doug Perrin and his accomplice, diver Brendon Cole, off the coast of Mexico.
Friends went to the Mexican Baja Peninsula for diving and remark of the underwater world.
During one of many dives off the coast of Caba San Lucas, they met a 15-meter minke whale, Bride, who determined to dine with one other portion of sardines and krill.
Many hungry marlins and sea lions swam round.
