The Lion Doesn’t Sleep Tonight
Well, there’s that 3 O’clock jitterbug
throughout the ground
Tour jete and wild ballet
Indecipherable video games that you simply play
Then at 6:30 AM you’re again once more
golden teapot screaming
Cutting into my deep candy dreaming
Lacerate the pillowcase
And pound relentlessly at my face
Banging on the bed room door and
Letting out a ragged roar
Jumping on the mattress after which

Over and underneath the sheets
You massive mug
While I personally have underneath the blankets dug
Out a refuge that gained’t save me
From your wild feline raving
Dizzying, dazzling dervish

This ain’t the time
Go again to mattress
Your screaming is thrashing in my head
I like you, Lion,
Love you so
