Quechee / by Flavia Rocha Loures

Wild Child
in shambles you got here to me
bleeding, small and skinny
imperfectly mended
trying so fragile
weak

Wonder Cat-Thunder
little did I do know of your power
bravery, ardour for all times
whilst you struggled
with the burdens of
restoration

Witty Kitty
I may see how a lot you missed it
the liberty of the streets, you
had been born to discover, now
you’re the grasp of
our yard

My Quechee
lengthy it took you to open up, to really feel
protected and beloved, perceive
our bond, see that you just
had discovered a forever-
household

…by way of all of it, by some means
you’ve all the time identified
the best way dwelling…
