Honey likes youngsters, after they’re quiet as a mouse,
Honey likes youngsters after they’re not in the home.
Edith love cats, she actually needs to cuddle
She can by no means get fairly shut sufficient, it leaves her in a muddle.

Honey sees a toddler and hides below the mattress
Or perhaps in a cabinet, that’s what her uncle mentioned.
Edith was actually affected person and appeared all day lengthy.
But Honey stored on hiding she simply stored on and on.

It’s virtually Edith’s mattress time and honey’s not but appeared,
Edith thinks she’s missed her likelihood, it’s simply as she feared.
Perhaps Honey doesn’t like her? She actually hoped she did.
She determined to look no extra, the place the cat was hid.

Now it was her bedtime and he or she was very sleepy.
She closed her eyes and drifted off, however what was actually sneaky
Honey the cat, was slumbering and snoozing below the mattress
She climbed proper up, onto the pillow and settled by Edith’s head.

First factor within the morning, Edith woke to a shock,
She might see proper subsequent to her, honey’s massive broad eyes.
Honey even let her stroke her, and tickle below her chin
They stayed like this for ages, till her mum got here in.

Now Edith’s discovered a lesson, if she needs a cat sat on her lap,
it’s to remain fairly nonetheless, quiet down and faux to take a nap
