Banana Pup Pancake for Dogs
Servings: 3 – 4 pancakes
Ingredients:
- 2 mashed bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- A pinch of floor cinnamon
- Rapeseed or coconut oil for frying
- Your canine’s favourite toppings: we used blueberries and peanut butter (make sure the peanut butter does NOT comprise xylitol which is toxic to dogs)
- Mixing bowl
- Non-stick pan
Method:
- Mix collectively the eggs and mashed banana till mixed
- Add the coconut flour and the bottom cinnamon, and blend nicely
- If your batter is a bit dry, simply add a bit of little bit of water
- Heat a non-stick pan on a medium warmth and add your oil
- Once sizzling, add a spoonful of your combination to the pan
- Cook for 2-3 minutes (or till golden brown) then give it a flip
- Once the pancake is cooked via, switch to a plate and repeat with the remainder of your combination
- Add your toppings and let your canine dig in!
The pancakes will maintain in an hermetic container within the fridge for a couple of days, or within the freezer for as much as a month – that’s in the event you don’t eat all of them…
Carrot & Chickpea Pup Pancakes for Dogs
Makes: 16 pancakes
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: quarter-hour
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup cooked chickpeas (drained, canned chickpeas are high-quality)
- 1/2 small carrot (about 1/4 cup), grated
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup self-raising flour
- 2/3 cup oat milk
- 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
Method:
- Put the chickpeas in a meals processor and mix for a couple of seconds.
- Add all of the remaining components besides the oil, and blend till blended.
- Heat a bit of of the oil in a big non-stick frying pan.
- Spoon a heaped tablespoon of batter per pancake into the pan, leaving a bit of house in between.
- Fry the pancakes for two–3 minutes on both sides till evenly golden.
- Plate up and permit to chill a bit of, and also you’ll have your canine barking for breakfast.
- Store the pancakes in an hermetic container within the fridge for as much as 2 days, or freeze, separated by sheets of greaseproof paper, for as much as 3 months.
