“Her fur’s as darkish as midnight’s beautiful gloom
And when she walks in silence via the evening
Her paw pads kiss the earth with uncommon delight:
She’s so elegant and stylish a bloom !
A flower of all felines, together with her grace
A magical enchantment stuffed with desires !
Oh, how she has survived via life’s extremes !
I can’t think about how she bears this place !
She was deserted by some felon. She
A home cat oh so civilized and uncommon !
She knew the right way to besot with each stare,
From these pleasant eyes and from every tree.
I do know we’re totally different. I’m like moonlight, brilliant
With silver feathers and elegant repose;
And she? She has these magic sable toes…
I like her. Life might be ardour’s delight.
So how will I comprise a starlight ode
Enchanting my candy damsel princess queen?
She must rule in a safe demesne:
I’ve made a nest for her as a result of it’s snowed.”
