This is a devoted day upon which to recognise, spotlight and have a good time our animal companions, and the great relationships we are able to construct with them.
We also needs to mirror about these for whom such a relationship shouldn’t be doable, for instance these residing in housing that isn’t pet pleasant, animals in shelters awaiting their perpetually houses, and people residing in care services that haven’t but embraced Animal Assisted Interventions.
Our organisations will proceed to advocate for higher recognition of the bond, for extra alternatives for individuals and animals to learn from a bond relationship, and for higher implementation of animal care and welfare schooling and for coaching of the professions about their position in human-animal interactions.
